This NTC home appliance temperature sensor is designed for heaters, freezers, ice makers, refrigerators and other equipment that requires reliable temperature detection and control. The NTC element, probe housing, extension lead and connector can be configured to match the appliance structure, controller input and installation requirements.
How the NTC Sensor Works
An NTC thermistor has a negative temperature coefficient: its resistance decreases as temperature increases. The resistance change is measured by the controller to detect temperature and support appliance control. The typical resistance temperature coefficient is approximately -2%/K to -6%/K, depending on the selected NTC material and design.
